Director
Grace ShibaGrace A. Shiba is the Senior Director of Alumni Relations. She has been actively involved in both the APAA and the USCAA for many years. Grace joined the USC Alumni Association in February 2005 and is responsible for engaging our Asian Pacific and international alumni through various alumni relations programs to meet their intellectual, social, cultural, and professional needs, as well as recruiting alumni leaders and developing new alumni clubs internationally. She also serves as the alumni relations liaison for the Asian Pacific Alumni Association, Black Alumni Association, Mexican American Alumni Association, and the LAMBDA Gay/Lesbian Alumni Association. Grace served on the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors for seven years, was a past president and member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Pacific Alumni Association, Skull and Dagger Honorary Society, and Advisor to the USC Asian American Business Association. Grace holds a BA degree from Letters, Arts, and Science from USC.

Her community involvement is exemplary, holding board, committee and event chair positions with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and is currently their Senior Vice President, Officer of the Japanese American Treaty Centennial Scholarship Fund and the JCC Foundation and serves on the Board of Governors for the Japan America Society and on the Board of the Nisei Week Foundation.

Associate Director
Alex Chang is the Associate Director of Alumni Relations focusing on Asian Pacific American and international alumni programs. Alex joined the Alumni Association and the APAA in January 2007, and is primarily responsible for the planning, development and implementation of events and programs that service USC’s Asian Pacific and international alumni. He also serves as a liaison between the Alumni Association and various Asian Pacific American and international student organizations (including the Asian Pacific American Student Services, the Asian Pacific American Student Assembly and the International Student Assembly).

Alex brings with him extensive knowledge in community relations, marketing and event coordination; having served in these capacities with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). He comes to the APAA directly from Party Planners West, Inc. where he coordinated large-scale corporate events including events for Super Bowl XL, Major League Baseball’s World Series, the 2006 U. S. Open and the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids Foundation.

Alex graduated from the USC Marshall School of Business with a BS degree in business administration. He also holds an MA degree in kinesiology & sport management from Cal State Long Beach.

Administrative Assistant
Daniel Campagna is the administrative assistant for the Asian Pacific Alumni Association and the Lifecycle programs. Daniel joined the Alumni Association in October 2008 and primarily assists the APAA and Lifecycle programs with graphic design and office admin. Prior to coming to USC, Daniel worked for the Brighton Foundation, designing and implementing study abroad programs for middle school and high school youth.

Daniel holds a BA from Occidental College in theatre. He is also a graduate of the London Dramatic Academy conservatory training program.
