75th ANNUAL ALUMNI AWARDS GALA 2008

On April 4, 2008 the USC Alumni Association hosted the 75th annual USC Alumni Awards Gala, celebrating the achievements and contributions of USC alumni.


The Asa V. Call Achievement Award, the university's highest honor for alumni accomplishment, was presented to:

  • Christopher Cox '73 LAS, the 28th chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

Alumni Merit Awards winners are:

  • Adam Herbert '66, MS '69 (PPD), president emeritus of Indiana University
  • Suzanne Nora Johnson '79 (LAS), USC trustee and senior director of the Goldman Sachs Group

Alumni Service Awards winners are:

  • John C. Bedrosian '59 (Law), co-founder of National Medical Enterprises
  • Daniel J. Epstein '62 (Viterbi), USC trustee and chairman and founder of ConAm
  • Mildred Farnsworth '46 (LAS), former president of the Half Century Trojans
