USC BAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Graduating from the USC with a B.S. in Engineering was just the beginning of a long list of achievements for Monique Hunter-Dennis.  Immediately after leaving USC, Hunter-Dennis became a systems engineer for TRW Defense Systems.  There she designed, developed and integrated hardware systems for communications subsystems, missiles and aircraft.  After nearly 15 years at TRW, Hunter-Dennis wanted a change of pace and began her own leisure travel business, Unity Travel, Inc.  Managing and operating her own company, she demonstrated a business savvy that brought her an annual gross income of $250,000 per year.  In her next endeavor, she focused her energy in the education arena and became a California laboratory specialist manager at high schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District.

In addition to her phenomenal professional accomplishments, Hunter-Dennis is also affiliated with an extensive list of clubs and organizations.  These include the Los Angeles Council of Black Engineers, the LIBRIS Reading Circle, the Unity Travel Club, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and others.  She currently serves as the Immediate Past President  the USC Black Alumni Association.  She is proud to be a part of the BAA which, through networking, has expanded across the country in its quest to unite USC's African-American alumni, family and friends in a strong, professional community.
