CONGRATULATIONS TO MARVIN COBB! JANUARY 8, 2008, MARVIN WAS INDUCTED INTO THE RIVERSIDE, CA SPORTS HALL OF FAME.

The Press-Enterprise:
“Marvin Cobb remains, after all these years, the best athlete Riverside Notre Dame High School produced. He lettered in baseball, football, basketball and track and was the focal point of CIF championship football and baseball teams his senior year of 1970-71, earning CIF Player of the Year awards in both sports. Cobb went from there to USC, where he played on two football national champions (1972, '74) and two more in baseball ('73, '74). He followed that with five distinguished seasons in the defensive backfield of the Cincinnati Bengals, finishing his NFL career with 13 interceptions in 79 games. Later he was involved with a number of educational enrichment programs”
