BAA SCHOLARSHIP - APPLICATION
(Please read the letter below and scroll to the bottom of this page to apply for the USC BAA Scholarship)

Dear Student:

The USC Black Alumni Association (USC BAA) is offering scholarships to USC undergraduate, graduate, and accepted transfer students who exemplify a strong commitment to, sound identification with, and a long-standing history of demonstrating a contribution to, the African-American community. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic and personal merit, and demonstrated involvement within the African-American community. The scholarship will be awarded based upon eligibility for financial aid and merit. In special situations, awards may be made based upon merit alone. Scholarships range from $500.00 to $3,000.00.

Eligibility
Applicants for awards must be current or continuing USC and/or transfer students. They must be planning to enroll in full-time, undergraduate or graduate courses of study at eligible institutions. The minimum cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) for this scholarship is 2.5. The undergraduate or graduate student must be in good standing with the University Registrar Office.

Transfer students will be reviewed and selected after they have been admitted.

Effective for beginning Fall 2009: Incoming Freshman applicants will also be considered for the scholarship upon verification of admission to USC for the 2009-2010 school year.
