...is an exclusive online job-listing portal for USC students and alumni. Employers interested in hiring Trojans may post jobs on connectSC for free. Nearly 4,000 jobs are posted at any given time. Through connectSC, alumni have access to archived webinars, other job portals and resources, the connectSC Career Network, CareerBeam and Going Global under the "Resources" tab.
...is a self-paced, comprehensive virtual career management tool that allows alumni to clarify career goals, develop professional resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, develop a network, access jobs and implement a strategic career search. This service is sponsored by the USC Career Center and the USC Alumni Association. As an alum, you may access CareerBeam through your connectSC account.
- Going Global
...is a comprehensive database that includes career information regarding work in the United States and abroad. Included in this resource is information on work permit and visa regulations, country-specific resume and CV samples, interview and cultural advice, employment outlook, industry trends and professional and social networking groups. This database also contains 44 U.S.-city career guides and six Canadian-city career guides as well as 16-million worldwide job and internship opportunities and 450,000 corporate organization profiles. Also included are 34 country guides and employment resources for more than 80 worldwide locations. As an alum, you may access Going Global through your connectSC account.
- Career Access Resource Library (CARL)
...allows you to search hardcopy and online resources for career exploration. You may also search thousands of websites that cover industries and professional associations as well as domestic and international job directories.
