Trojan Guild of Los Angeles

About Us

Organized in 1960, Trojan Guild of Los Angeles encourages among alumnae a spirit of friendship based on our common loyalty to USC. TGLA demonstrates this loyalty through rendering service to the University and providing scholarships to students, and opportunities for educational stimulation and cultural enrichment for our members. We have a diverse group of women whose studies while at USC encompassed many areas and who have been involved in a wide variety of careers. Our involvement with our scholarship students helps to bring us up to date with what’s happening on campus. Fun, a close connection to USC, service to the university, scholarships for talented students and a spirit of friendship all define Trojan Guild of Los Angeles.

Membership

Membership is open to women who are 30 years and older, have attended USC and have a special interest in the university. Prospective members must be proposed by an active member and co-sponsored by another active member. Prospective members must attend at least two functions before being accepted for membership. Active members must attend at least two Trojan Guild of LA functions each year and must pay dues, a large part of which goes to scholarships.

Scholarships

Trojan Guild of Los Angeles offers several scholarships each year, including the Sue Neblett Scholarship in Fine Arts and the Joyce Peyton Scholarship in Music.
