USC University Hospital Guild
About Us
The USC University Hospital Guild is a membership organization, chartered by the University of Southern California in October 1993. The membership supports the efforts of USC University Hospital programs by providing service to the Hospital, patients and community; by supporting the USC Keck School of Medicine and it faculty and its students; and by furthering public awareness of the Hospital.
The Guild sponsors: a five part Speakers’ Series each year which highlights our world famous doctors and the latest breakthroughs in their areas of expertise; provides scholarships for Medical Students and has donated over $200,000 to the Doctors of USC for medically related projects; provides tours of the USC University Hospital; sponsors the 5K Walk on the Health Science Campus in October; provides support for the Violence Intervention Program through donations at Christmas and throughout the year; provides magazines for the lobbies; honors outstanding Doctors and students.
Membership
Membership is open to all persons interested in the USC University Hospital.
Scholarships
Two medical students are awared scholarships each year. They must be a junior when they apply, have a good scholastic record, community service, and demonstrate leadership skills.
