Trojan League of Los Angeles
The first of the Trojan Leagues, Trojan League of Los Angeles celebrated its 50th anniversary on March 12, 2008. The League was founded to foster continuing interest in the University of Southern California on the part of Trojan Alumni, their families, friends, and the community by bringing into prominence its history, traditions, and accomplishments. The League sponsors an annual benefit, showcasing a school or department of the University. The funds raised underwrite various recruiting activities which serve to educate and interest high school students in the University and to encourage those qualified to apply for admission. The League hosts neighborhood receptions for admitted students, sponsors and mentors the campus SCions program, and administers the Trojan League of Los Angeles Joseph Patrick Allen Endowed Scholarship in the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. This year we will launch a new event with the Office of Admissions as we host Counselors from selected Los Angeles area independent high schools. Our partnership with the Office of Admissions is a long and fruitful one that TLLA has been proud of, going back to 25 years of our very popular Senior and Junior Breakfasts.
