Philanthropic support of higher education is a time-honored tradition, but only since 1992 have supporters interested in USC's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community had an avenue in which to direct their generosity ... namely the Lambda Alumni Association. By giving at levels above standard membership you play a recognized role in fulfilling Lambda's mission to create and foster a diverse LGBT-affirming community of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends that promotes education and outreach, advances the prestige of the University, and demonstrates its openness to, and acceptance of, diverse communities.

Ways to Give
Fund a scholarship in your name	Awarding scholarships to deserving students is among Lambda's highest priorities and you can show your support by having a scholarship named in your honor. There are two ways to do this: minimum annual donations directed to scholarship and endowment of scholarship funds that will keep your support of deserving students in the spotlight for years to come.
Make a planned gift	Outright Gifts When you make an outright gift to USC, your contribution can be put to work immediately ... either providing funding for current programs or creating a reliable source of future income by expanding the University's endowment. An outright gift may be composed of almost any asset of value. Bequests, life-income plans Bequests, life-income plans, and other options for your estate can earn valuable income-tax deductions, and reducing your estate taxes. Pledges USC welcomes your gift through a pledge ... a formal statement of intention to make a gift to the university. With a pledge, you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time, allowing you to Give more generously than you originally may have considered. What is more, each payment on your pledge is eligible for an income-tax charitable deduction.
