Novelist Anita Diamant (The Red Tent), Israeli author Amos Oz and folk singer Peter Yarrow are just three of the writers appearing at this celebration of Jewish literature, co-sponsored by the USC Shoah Foundation Institute.

Kevin Jones, curator of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), opens the series with his morning lecture "adDRESSING Titanic: Appearance and Identity in 1912" at Pasadena's Art Center College of Design, followed by an afternoon tour of the exhibit "High Style: Betsy Bloomingdale and the Haute Couture" at FIDM in downtown LA.
