Word from Widney
On October 23-24, three generations of Trojans will gather on campus to reaffirm old friendships and reminisce at Reunion Weekend '09. This two-day celebration of the Trojan Family promises to evoke fond memories and create new ones for alumni and their friends and families.
This year, we have expanded the Reunion Weekend program to include the Class of 1959's 50-Year Reunion; a reinstated 25-Year Reunion for the Class of 1984; and the inaugural Young Alumni Reunion for the undergraduate classes of 1999-2009. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the class reunion committees and Alumni Association staff, Reunion Weekend '09 activities will run the gamut from USC Emeriti Center and USC Office of Continuing Education presentations to campus tours and cocktail parties. Word from Widney (continued)
Of course, it wouldn't be Reunion Weekend without a football game and pre-game tailgate parties; what better way to rekindle your school spirit than by cheering the Trojans to victory over the Oregon State Beavers in the Coliseum?
On behalf of the USC Alumni Association and the university community, I want to congratulate the Classes of 1959 and 1984 on reaching reunion milestones — and acknowledge the young alumni helping us launch a new campus tradition. If you haven't already registered to attend Reunion Weekend '09, I urge you to sign up and join us to celebrate the enduring ties that bind us together as members of the Trojan Family.
Fight On!
