2009 Reunion Weekend

Support Your USC Reunion Class Legacy Campaign!
Supporting a Class Legacy Campaign is a USC Reunion tradition. The Class of 1959 is proud to support the construction of the Norman Topping Memorial, a unique and exciting project which pays tribute to former USC President Dr. Norman Topping. Dr. Topping, who encouraged a culture of openness on campus and laid the groundwork for one of the most ambitious fundraising initiatives in USC history, assumed his presidency in the fall of 1958 — just as our Class of 1959 was beginning its senior year at USC.
The Topping Memorial will be located along Trousdale Parkway, adjacent to the all- new Ronald N. Tutor Campus Center, which is now under construction in the heart of the University Park Campus. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2010, this exquisite addition to USC will be a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility for student life and campus activities. It will also house the Epstein Family Alumni Center: the new home of the USC Alumni Association.
The Topping Memorial will cost our Class a total of $60,000, and we hope to surpass this goal and support other university initiatives with any additional funds our Class raises in honor of the 50th reunion. Class Gift recognition opportunities ($10,000, $5,000 or $1,000 levels), which are outlined in full on the downloadable Pledge Form, include personal name listings on the Memorial plaque, the Alumni Center wall and/or on the Campus Center wall.
