Welcome to Society 53!

Society 53 is the USC Alumni Association's student outreach program, an organization of 53 student leaders who serve as USC Alumni Association student ambassadors and provide programs and events to strengthen Trojan Family ties between USC students and alumni.

Launched in fall 2008 and named in honor of the 53 students who formed USC's first student body back in 1880, Society 53 announced its inaugural class of student leaders on November 5, 2008 and held its first meeting that evening at the Widney Alumni House.

Society 53 hosts the following programs:

Trojan SCuppers – Early in March 2009, the USC Alumni Association and Society 53 introduced an exciting new Trojan student/alumni tradition: Trojan SCuppers! This program provides students and alumni with a wonderful opportunity to meet and engage one another over alumni-hosted suppers in a fun, friendly Trojan Family environment!

Trojan SCuppers 2010 will be the weekend of March 5 – 7, 2010 Please check back here for updated information on future SCuppers.

Senior SCend Off – Each spring, Society 53 and the USC Alumni Association host a FREE 'congratulations and welcome' party BBQ for undergraduate graduating seniors about to transition from students to alumni.
