BAC Advisory Council

The USC Black Alumni Association Advisory Council (BAC) was established in 2010 to provide leadership for the USC Black Alumni Association (BAA), which was previously governed by the BAA Board of Directors. The BAC gives strategic guidance concerning the BAA’s mission, alumni engagement, student matriculation support, scholarship growth and donor cultivation.  The BAA executive director invites alumni and university supporters to serve on the BAC.

Core Values and Principles

We are compassionate and fair, serving an underserved and underrepresented population. We identify and support the capabilities of Black USC alumni and students, and reflect their concerns, perspectives and experiences.

We work in collaboration with the academic, alumni, corporate and civic communities to identify, engage and provide development opportunities that foster the mission of the BAA.

We are accountable to our partners, encouraging the growth and sustainability of the organization.

We are judicial stewards of all resources entrusted to advance the mission of the BAA.

We are committed to providing leadership in order to fulfill the goals and objectives of the BAA.
