Redondo Beach Community Gardens

USC Alumni in the South Bay will be working with the South Bay Parkland Conservancy, to construct the first official Redondo Beach Community Garden to combat food insecurity. We will be constructing 27-30 planter boxes, placing them within the designed, elevated beds, and filling them with compost materials. We may be planting some perennials along the architecturally designed hillside; Not guaranteed. Building materials and garden tools will be provided, as well as gardening gloves. Please bring extra garden gloves and come dressed to build and garden. Bring a small seat. It will come in handy. Water will be provided, but bring your own, non plastic, water bottle to fill & refill. The project is ecofriendly. No plastic, please. This is a great project to bring your children.
