What motivated you to take on this leadership role?
The tradition of the Trojan Family was instilled in me from an early age. My two older brothers were Trojans, and because of that, I never seriously considered any other school. I entered USC as an Architecture major, but after transferring to the USC Marshall School of Business during my sophomore year, I quickly realized I had found my true calling.

During my time on campus, I stayed active — participating in my fraternity, serving on the Songfest committee for several years and spending two years on the Marshall’s Dean’s Advisory Committee. It was through that committee that I truly began to understand the power of the vast Trojan Family network, and I advocated for integrating internship opportunities more deeply into the curriculum.

What are you most looking forward to as Co-Chair?
In addition to the Game Watch parties that Stacey has continued to champion ever since the University disbanded the regional clubs several years ago, I’m excited to create regular opportunities for Trojan alumni of all backgrounds and interests to connect.

Many of you run unique businesses that other Trojans would love to tour. Others may want to serve as mentors to recent graduates or offer internships to current students. Some of you might have connections in the cultural community that could open doors for group outings and shared experiences. You may want to join fellow Trojans for our annual Day of SCervice.

These are just a few of the many activities we hope will reignite your connection to the Trojan Family this year!

What is something about you the others may not know?
In honor of my mom, who lived with Alzheimer’s for 20 years, I have spent the past fifteen years participating in Alzheimer’s research studies, serving as a medical outreach volunteer, and founding Realtors UNITED to End Alzheimer’s.

What does USC mean to you, and what do you hope to achieve as network Co-Chair?
I have been actively involved with the Trojan Family ever since I graduated. I immediately joined Commerce Associates, kept our season football tickets for more than three decades and became involved with the East Bay USC Alumni Club when I moved here in the ’80s, eventually serving as president in 1992. I continue to be inspired by the dedication and passion of the leaders who built and sustained the East Bay Trojan community for so many years. I look forward to harnessing that same energy with a new generation of leadership — supporting networking opportunities and strengthening enthusiasm for our shared love of the Trojan Family.
