This summer, Jessica Lall ’06 will begin her term as president of the Board of Governors, building on the enormous contributions of Daniel Prince ’00, MA ’02. Jessica and I will partner closely to implement the Alumni Association’s new strategic direction and support its mission of building lifelong connections between USC’s 500,000 alumni, the university and each other. I am grateful for Jessica’s leadership and excited to work with her and our entire Board of Governors.
I extend my deepest gratitude to Daniel for his exceptional leadership and dedication. During his presidency, he oversaw the centennial celebration; crossed the global milestone of 500,000 alumni; supported the launch of the Regional Trojan Networks; and played an integral role in the 2024 USC Alumni Association transition, providing counsel through the strategic planning process and serving on the search committee for my position. We wish him all the best as he steps into a new role on the USC Board of Trustees, where he will work alongside President Kim to strengthen our Trojan Family and advance USC’s mission and impact.

The Board of Governors will kick off the new academic year with its first meeting on Aug. 28 during Alumni Leaders Weekend, and we can’t wait to see the impact they will make in the year ahead.
