The USC Black Alumni Association Advisory Council (BAC) was established in 2010. The BAC’s mission is to support the overall advancement of the Black Alumni Association (BAA) by engaging all black alumni for life, building a culture of belonging for both students and alumni, cultivating philanthropy to ensure a lasting legacy among the Black Trojan Family, and being the representative voice for all black USC alumni.
The BAC seeks to sustain the BAA as a standard-bearer for academic excellence and achievement for its alumni and students, through partnerships with the academic community, alumni networks, corporate and civic relationships in support of student matriculation, scholarship growth and donor cultivation.
The USC Black Alumni Association Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a collective of the next generation of Black Trojan leaders. YPC is open to alumni, corporate, and commmunity partners 35 years of age or younger. YPC strives to create a supportive environment that encourages self-discovery, teaches collaboration and promotes Black Trojan excellence. Members share professional advice and experience through the YPC LinkedIn group, volunteer their time and talents at meet-ups or service projects, and fundraise for BAA scholarships to stregthen the Black Trojan legacy.
