Black Trojans on the Vineyard

August 7–10, 2024

Thanks to all who participated in our second annual Black Trojans on the Vineyard celebration! We gathered in historic Oaks Bluff to soak up the sun on Inkwell Beach and strengthen our Trojan Family ties over the course of four glorious days.

Wednesday, August 7

11:30 am – 2:00 pm EDT | Trojans at the Inkwell

Due to inclement weather, Black Trojans at the Inkwell event has been cancelled. Instead, USC BAA will host a meet up at Barn, Bowl & Bistro bowling alley. We hope to see you there.

Thursday, August 8

5:00 – 8:00 pm EDT | Cardinal and Gold Dinner

Hosted at a stunning private residence this exclusive event features a curated soul food clam bake dinner by Chef Deon, accompanied by specialty cocktails crafted from the Black-owned New England Sweetwater Farm and Distillery.

Friday, August 9

1:00 – 3:00 pm EDT | Trojans on the Vineyard Cruise

Enjoy a cruise around Martha’s Vineyard on the Trojan-owned state-of-the-art catamaran Mad Max (includes onboard refreshments).

Saturday, August 10

3:00 – 7:00 pm EDT | Soul of Sonoma on Martha’s Vineyard

Soul of Sonoma on the Vineyard is commemorating its fifth year with a five-course wine pairing on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Each tasting course will correspond with the theme of Air, Land, and Sea. Featured wines from Black winemakers will be accompanied by wine education. This exclusive event will showcase a meticulously curated selection of exciting premium wines from Black winemakers paired with a seasonal tasting menu inspired by the African diaspora.
