Over the past 47 years, the USC Latino Alumni Association (LAA) has awarded more than $22.5 million in scholarships to 9,400 USC students who are committed to the Latino/Hispanic community.
LAA provides partial-tuition scholarships to USC undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Latino/Hispanic community. Graduate scholarships are for master’s candidates only; limited awards for law, medical and doctor of pharmacy students are also available.
Scholarship awards per academic year range from $2,000 to $5,000 for undergraduate students, and $500 to $5,000 for graduate students.

Scholarship Funds
These four funds support USC undergraduate and graduate students from all majors:
- USC Latino Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund
- The Kathy and Charlie Adams Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
- Luis and Margie Armona Endowed Scholarship Fund
- Ulloa Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Annie Villalobos Hernandez Endowed Scholarship Fund
This fund supports undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing careers in the education.
Moysset Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
This fund supports students pursuing studies in education at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level.
LAA Law Scholarship Fund
This fund was created in partnership with La Raza Law Students Association. It supports law students entering the third year of their program.
Felipe Plascencia Exceptional Funding Endowed (for current USC Scholars only)
This fund provides financial support to current USC LAA Scholars so they may participate in educational and professional opportunities not covered by financial aid, including travel to conferences, business attire and professional association memberships.
