Dear LAA Family,
As the fall semester draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journeys and achievements of our students, as well as the proud legacy of the USC Latino Alumni Association. This year marked the 50th anniversary of our founding—a golden milestone we will formally celebrate at our spectacular 50th Anniversary Scholarship Gala in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on March 2.
Our gala promises to be a memorable evening, filled with live entertainment and a chance to network and reconnect with fellow Trojans, as we recognize exemplary students and alumni. It’s the perfect occasion to celebrate our collective accomplishments and foster the strong bonds that make our community exceptional. To help us provide scholarships and professional development courses for USC’s Latino students, we invite you to sponsor our gala; we offer multiple sponsorship opportunities at different levels.
In addition to the gala, we are excited to announce the launch of our 50th anniversary commemorative yearbook project, thanks to Dímelo, USC Annenberg Media’s only student-run bilingual news desk. We want you to share your memories and photos of your time at USC—and the role LAA played, or continues to play, in your lives. Your stories will not only become part of our legacy, but will also inspire future students as they embark on their USC journeys.
We look forward to seeing your wonderful photos and reading your stories for our yearbook, and we hope you’ll join us at our gala in March. Your continued involvement enriches the vibrant tapestry of our alumni community. We are deeply grateful for your dedicated support and tireless service.
Happy Holidays and Fight On!
