Class of 1983
Dear Fellow Trojan,
Believe it or not, it’s been 35 years since graduation, and that calls for a celebration! On behalf of the Class of 1983, we are thrilled to invite you to join us for our upcoming 35th Class Reunion on November 9-10, 2018.
This fall we will have a chance to relive our campus memories. What a time it was!
Do you remember when the campus was abuzz with preparation for the 1984 Olympics, including the start of construction on a new swim stadium? Jane Fonda’s “Workout” and Olivia Newton John’s “Physical” may have topped the VHS and 45 RPM charts, but Bovard rocked with the more cutting-edge performances of Missing Persons and George Carlin. We shared the last episode of M*A*S*H with about 122-million fellow Americans, and our national pride swelled when Sally Ride became the first American woman in space!
Thirty-five years is certainly something to commemorate! That’s why the USC Alumni Association is planning a fun-filled program for Reunion Weekend 2018, including campus tours, school visits, faculty and alumni spotlights, an elegant dinner and plenty of time to celebrate with old friends and make new ones—plus all the excitement of USC Homecoming and football (USC vs. Cal). It promises to be two unforgettable days of all things USC!
Finally, as a show of support for the next generation of Trojans, please consider making a gift to any school or program at USC in honor of your special reunion. And join our Class of 1983 Facebook group to share photos and memories and connect with classmates before, during and after the festivities.
We hope to see you in November, and be sure to tell your fellow Class of ’83 Trojans to join us as well!
Fight On!
