What motivated you to take on this leadership role?
For the past seven years, I have been active in volunteering, hosting and arranging events. Between the encouragement of my peers and the transparency and support of everyone at the USCAA, I was really motivated to throw my hat in the ring!
What are you most looking forward to as Co-Chair?
I’m really looking forward to bringing the Trojan spirit to San Francisco. My goal is to help Trojans of all backgrounds feel connected and part of a vibrant community, and to offer activities beyond our signature events that appeal to a wide range of alumni. I’m excited to work alongside my fellow co‑chair, Kimberly, as well as our board and resource circle members, to uplift and support this incredible network. We already have strong partnerships with affinity groups like the Marshall Alumni Association and AAPA, and I’m eager to continue building on those relationships.
What’s something about you that others might not know?
I’m not originally from San Francisco! I’m from Orange County and moved to SF in 2017. I didn’t know anyone here and found the alumni Facebook page and saw they were having a game watch party. What started as going to game watch parties became getting involved in the board, and now a co-chair! I’m also a big Star Wars nerd and am a part of a Star Wars Meetup group.
