What is Trojan Connects?
Trojan Connects is a USC’a Global Alumni Networking Week. An initiative that brings the Trojan Network together through career-focused events, conversations, and networking opportunities.
Who can attend Trojan Connects?
Trojan Connect events are open to all USC alumni, students, and friends of the university. While the primary audience is USC alumni, students are encouraged to attend events that align with their interests and career goals. Any event-specific guidance will be noted on the registration page.
What types of events are part of Trojan Connects?
Trojan Connects includes a variety of event formats such as career conversations and panels, networking events by industry or region, virtual discussions and workshops, and alumni-led learning experiences.
Are Trojan Connect events virtual or in person?
Trojan Connect events are offered as either virtual or in-person experiences. The event format, location, and access details will always be clearly listed on the registration page.
Will Trojan Connect events be recorded?
Virtual Trojan Connect events will be recorded and shared on the USC Alumni Association YouTube channel after the event. In-person events are not recorded. Information about recordings will be included on each event’s registration page.
Where can I find recordings or slides after an event?
If an event includes a recording or presentation materials, registered attendees will receive access to slides and/or recordings following the event. Virtual event recordings will also be available on the USC Alumni Association YouTube channel when applicable.
Do I need to prepare anything before attending an event?
Most Trojan Connect events require little to no preparation. For networking-focused events, attendees may wish to come prepared with a brief introduction or updated LinkedIn profile. Any special instructions will be noted on the event registration page.
Who should I contact if I have questions about a specific event?
Each Trojan Connect event listing includes a point of contact for event-specific questions. Please reach out directly to the contact listed on the registration page for the most accurate information.
What if I registered for an event but can no longer attend?
If you are unable to attend an event you registered for, please contact the event point of contact listed on the registration page. For in-person events, refunds may be available when applicable. Registered attendees will still receive access to event slides and recordings (if available).
