Announcing Jessica Lall ’06 as the Next USC Alumni Association Board of Governors President-Elect
We are thrilled to announce that Jessica Lall ’06 has been confirmed as the next President-Elect of the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors! Jessica’s appointment is a significant moment for our Trojan Family, and we are excited for her leadership as she guides us into the future. She will assume the role of board president in May 2026, succeeding Daniel Prince ’00, MA ’02 upon the conclusion of his term.
Jessica is a proud graduate of USC, earning her Bachelor of Science from the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences in 2006. Since joining the Board of Governors in 2019, she has been an active and engaged leader, co-chairing key initiatives, including the USC Alumni Awards, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and the Special Projects Committee. Additionally, Jessica was a pivotal co-author of the USC Alumni Association’s 2025 mission statement and has served as an alumni representative on the renaming committee for the Joseph Medicine Crow Building.
Outside of her work with USC, Jessica has had an extensive and impactful career in the public and private sectors. She currently leads the Downtown Los Angeles market for CBRE, where she is responsible for developing and implementing strategic direction in leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance, and property management across all commercial real estate sectors. In her role, Jessica also spearheads CBRE’s civic engagement efforts, leveraging the company’s resources to collaborate with community leaders and policymakers on critical issues such as housing, homelessness, and neighborhood revitalization.
Jessica has been a tireless advocate for the city of Los Angeles. She previously served as the President and CEO of the Central City Association (CCA), representing over 300 organizations and working to increase economic opportunity in the region. Jessica also served as the Executive Director of the South Park Business Improvement District (BID), where she launched nationally recognized public art initiatives and economic development projects. Additionally, she served as the Senior Economic Development Advisor for Downtown Los Angeles under Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and was a Commissioner of the Los Angeles Homelessness Services Authority. Jessica is deeply committed to her community, serving on the boards of the Downtown Women’s Center and the 21st Century Alliance.
Jessica’s combination of leadership experience, community commitment, and professional expertise makes her the ideal candidate to lead the USC Alumni Association into the future. She will be installed as President-Elect at the USC Alumni Association Annual Meeting and Board of Governors Installation on May 22.
Jessica lives in Marina Del Rey with her husband, Luke, their two young daughters, and their dog and cat. As a family, they love traveling and spending time outdoors. We are excited for all Jessica will accomplish in her new role as she joins board leadership and partners with President Daniel Prince to shape the next chapter of the USC Alumni Association.
Nominations for the 2025-2026 Board of Governors will open on February 24, and invitations to the Annual Meeting will be sent out later this spring.
Please join us in congratulating Jessica on this well-deserved appointment!
