What motivated you to take on this leadership role?
I’ve been volunteering for the USC Alumni Association for 18 years and was excited at the opportunity to utilize that experience to ensure the Portland area starts off strong with its revitalized alumni engagement. I strongly believe that local engagement is key to maintaining a strong affinity to the university and the alumni network.

What are you most looking forward to as Co-Chair?
Building an enthusiastic board that plans innovative programming to capture local alumni attention. Some of the most fulfilling times I’ve had as an alum have been volunteering on these boards and building strong connections with other Trojan alumni leaders.

What’s something about you that others might not know?
I’ve been involved in seven distinct USC alumni groups.

What does USC means to you and what you hope to achieve as network co-chair?
We hope to build a strong foundation to ensure that the regional network in Oregon thrives for many, many years. That means building a strong board, delivering diverse and engaging programming for local Trojans and working with the university to support in whatever ways we can.
