Lorraine Wheat balances her writing and directing career with her work as a media coordinator for Paramount Global’s post-production operations. In this position, she crafts promos for CBS and Paramount Plus and provides media management support for the company’s digital content groups. Her social justice short film, Heart of Compton, earned Wheat the Panavision New Filmmaker Program Award, as well as coverage in The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. A 2023 Unlock Her Potential mentee, Wheat is also a member of the Anaphora Arts Publishing 2024 cohort and is writing a young adult romance novel. She is a USC School of Cinematic Arts alum.
