Peter Kuhn is a scientist and entrepreneur with a career-long commitment to personalized medicine and individualized patient care, with a focus on the redesign of cancer care. His research team in physics oncology has discovered new ways of how cancer spreads to the human body, and is using these breakthroughs to impact patient care that is biologically informed and clinically actionable. Prior to joining USC in 2014, Kuhn established a translational science program at The Scripps Research Institute, where he brought together more than 40 scientists from basic, engineering and medical sciences to study cancer. Kuhn is also the founder of Epic Sciences, Inc., a premier partner to most pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the development of precision companion diagnostics for cancer care.
