USC Football Weekenders

This fall, hundreds of USC Alumni packed their cardinal-and-gold and hit the road for our 2018 Football Weekenders! From Texas to Oregon, the Trojan Family came together to ensure that our Men of Troy felt supported at every away game. Thank you to all who attended!

The USC Alumni Association would also like to thank the local Alumni Clubs for their help in hosting Weekender activities and events at each of our away games.

What a year for Weekenders! In partnership with the USC Alumni Association, local Alumni Clubs hosted a variety of events and activities at each of our 2018 away games. Activities included:

  • Hotel Packages
  • Tailgates

USC vs. Stanford
September 8
Score: 3 – 17

What a way to kick off this season’s slate of Weekenders! The Trojan Family came together in San Francisco for a weekend of spirit and camaraderie. Between the receptions, pep rallies, and pub crawls, this Weekender was one that we won’t soon forget!

Trojan Marching Band Pep Rally in Union Square (San Francisco, CA)

USC vs. Texas Weekender
September 14-15

Score: 14 – 37

It was a Weekender for the books in Austin, Texas! USC alumni and friends packed their bags and descended on the Lone Star State for 3 days of Trojan Spirit. Highlights include a Trojan Marching Band Pep Rally on the steps of the Texas State Capitol, a pre-game tailgate complete with a full bar and Texas style BBQ buffet, and a relaxing post-game Sunday brunch.

The Trojan Marching Band leads a Pep Rally on the steps of the Texas State Capitol (Austin, Texas)

USC vs. Arizona
September 29
Score: 24-20

The Trojan Family came together in Tuscon to cheer the Men of Troy to victory against the Arizona Wildcats! We had a blast connecting with Arizona Alumni and exploring the desert, getting a Trojan win on the road made this trip all the more special.

USC vs. Utah

October 20

Score: 28-41

The Trojan Family made the trip to Salt Lake City to cheer on the Men of Troy as they faced off against the Utes at Rice-Eccles Stadium. From an action-packed pre-game reception and band concert to an awesome tailgate, this Weekender was one for the books!

USC vs. Oregon State

Last but not least, the Trojan Family traveled to Oregon to close out this year’s slate of Weekenders. USC Alumni and Friends brought the Trojan spirit to Corvallis to rally the Men of Troy to victory over the Beavers.
